Feb 2013 – RFID in educational establishments – Information not held
The Department of Education stated in their answer that they did “not hold information about other Government Departments or non departmental bodies involved in RFID in educational establishments.” however in a private email from the Department of Education dated 21st Jan 2013 advice given was “you may wish to contact the Department for Business Innovation and Skills as the lead government department on the development of RFID”

The Department of Business Innovation and Skills advised that “Responsibility for radio spectrum responsibility passed to the Department for Culture Media and Sport in Dec 2010.“
